Judge: Mediated choice preferred over iPad

The judge presiding over the case between tech giant Apple and a Chinese company recommended that the parties take their high-profile conflict over the iPad trademark to a mediation settlement.  A court decision after litigation will powerfully affect the industry and the company’s market shares, and having a conciliation between the two sides will most likely result to a more favourable outcome.  Both Shenzhen Proview Technology and Apple claims ownership over the iPad trademark.
