Mediators Fail to Help in NHL Labor Fight

Two federal mediators tried to help for two days to resolve the labor lockout involving NHL but even they could not bring the fighting sides closer to a compromise. After several hours spent in trying to arrive at a compromise the parties were found to be still far apart from each other. So far there is no end to be seen on this issue yet. The lockout has already forced the cancellation of games through Dec. 14, the New Year’s Day Winter Classic, and the All-Star weekend in January. Read More
